Mr. Saturday Partners With Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation to Release "Dream Drop" Capsule

Toronto-based label Mr. Saturday has partnered with the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) to launch a “Dream Drop” collection.

Each item in the capsule is scannable, and just like a real lottery ticket, is redeemable for one $5 CAD LOTTO MAX ticket per week, for one full year. Proceeds from the “Dream Drop” capsule will go towards BLACK HXOUSE, a mission aimed at “empowering BIPOC Individuals with mentorship, tools, learning opportunities, network, and the freedom they need to activate their talent, leading to sustainable careers that promote industry innovation and diverse representation across multiple sectors.”

The Mr. Saturday x Lotto Max “Dream Drop” collection includes a range of hoodies, coach jackets, and combo packs complete with a t-shirt, trucker hat, and socks. Pieces are found in green and black color options featuring “Thank You for Dreaming” text and lottery ticket graphics.

“I was immediately intrigued by the idea of working on something that at once felt so far removed and so close to fashion. I wanted to create something that mixed the rich nostalgia of the lottery’s history with the future of where it’s going and what it can do,” said Mr. Saturday founder Joey Gollish. “Thank you for dreaming is the physical manifestation of dreaming what we’d do if we won the lottery. In some ways, we have – it’s exciting to be able to work on something of this scale and give back to an organization that helped me get to where I am and consistently creates opportunities for young creatives.”

The collection will be available for purchase beginning on March 27 at the dedicated LOTTO MAX Dream Drop website. To celebrate the launch, Lotto Max and Mr. Saturday will host a pop-up shop and event, open to the public from March 25- 27, 2022, with the full collection in-person to customers living in Ontario, Canada, age 18+.
