Katie Price has ripped into the I’m A Celebrity South Africa line-up which will see ‘legends’ of the last 20 series go head to head to be crowned the ultimate winner.
However, Katie, who is without a doubt one of the greatest I’m A Celebrity icons, infamously finding love with Peter Andre in the jungle, isn’t convinced.
I’m A Celebrity South Africa was filmed in 2022 and will see the likes of Carol Vorderman, Phil Tufnell, Shaun Ryder, and Janice Dickinson compete in what’s been dubbed the most ‘brutal’ series to date.
The Pricey spoke to fans in a typically candid Q&A on Instagram and shared her thoughts on the series, insisting she would have been TV gold.
‘A lot of people are saying, am I doing I’m A Celeb? No, but I’m interested in this show,’ she said, according to The Sun.
‘Apparently, they’re already out there filming with “the legends.”’
‘I don’t think they’re legends,’ she said, taking a swipe at the cast.
‘Imagine, if they had me and Pete on it? Imagine.’
Katie and Peter went on to marry in 2005, with the Mucky Mansion owner arriving at Highclere Castle in Hampshire in a Cinderella-inspired carriage. It was truly one of the most iconic and highly-anticipated celebrity weddings of the decade.
They went on to welcome two children, Junior, 17, and Princess, 15.
I’m A Celebrity released its first look at the new camp in South Africa’s Kruger National Park, which is six times the size of the base in Australia.
It looks beautiful, but it doesn’t look like the campmates will be getting much sleep with rock-hard cots for beds and the constant fear of ‘huge black birds’ swopping down to ‘peck eyes out’, according to Janice.
I’m A Celebrity South Africa launches Monday, April 24 at 9pm on ITV.
