Detailed Look at the Culture-Bridging CLOT x Polo Ralph Lauren Collection

CLOT is getting fairly active with its team-ups here in the new year, and after revealing its impending Air Jordan 35 and Air Jordan 14 iterations with Jordan Brand, the brand is now aligning with Polo Ralph Lauren for a culture-bridging apparel collaboration.

Given that Lunar New Year is just around the corner, Edison Chen — founder of CLOT — finds himself highlighting Chinese heritage with this new capsule and does it in a tasteful way by reimagining classic silhouettes from Ralph Lauren.

On display here via lifestyle imagery revealed by both parties is an on-body perspective of the pieces, some of which include oxford button-up shirts, crewneck sweaters and zip-up shackets. The button ups here have been fittingly altered with frog button closures — an element oft-seen via heritage garments in China. Colorways for this silhouette that have been shown so far include a medium wash denim and a crispy white, both of which feature intricate Silk Royale patterns that line the interior.

Elsewhere in the capsule, sweatshirts and shackets that have been modified with more frog button detailing have been unveiled, the former of which is adorned with all-over white and blue tie dye while the latter goes for a dark denim. The classical Polo Pony on each product accents beautifully in classic red.

Prices have not yet been revealed, but you can expect this collection to arrive at Juice Store locations and online come January 27.⠀
