Dominating basketball courts in the ‘70s, heritage sneaker brand Converse has revisited the original design for its classic Chuck Taylor silhouette. Having dropped its Carhartt WIP collab and teased a Rick Owens partnership, Converse has now given the All-Star Chuck 70 Hi a glow with its latest lenticular colorway.
Adding a modern twist to the iconic sneaker, the canvas is swapped out for premium leather uppers, a higher footbed for added cushioning and archival rubber taping. The multi-colored lenticular is toned down by the black stitching, a full-length black tongue, matching laces and a woven heel tape. For this iteration, the signature Chuck Taylor stamp receives a tonal makeover embossed into the ankle collar with the trademark rear plate also coming in a black background to complement the jet black outsole.
The Converse All-Star Chuck 70 Hi is now available on the Offspring website retailing for £74.99 GBP (approximately $103 USD).
