The ‘Orange Is the New Black’ actress makes many of her fans worried after she suggests that she is crying for help and feeling terrorized in an Instagram post.
AceShowbiz –Taryn Manning recently got a lot of fans worried about her after she shared on Instagram a troubling post detailing the reason why she couldn’t come to the premiere of “Orange Is the New Black” new season. Many have reached out with worry ever since the actress suggested that she was crying for help and felt terrorized.
Explaining that “unfortunate uncontrollable circumstances” prompted her absence at the premiere, she wrote on her post that she tried to “tell” everyone, but no one cared. “This is for anyone who feels alone, terrorized by cyber criminals, cyber bullying, criminals with the intent to cause others distress and isolate them from life, for people who have lost everything due to another humans mental illness and smear campaigns,” she said. “This is for you too so you don’t feel so alone.”
Taryn continued, “It even happens to people who seemingly have the resources to stop it too. This is for my ‘team’ of agents, managers and lawyers who didn’t do anything to help me. I forgive you though. I hope you’re happy, you know who you are.”
Her post raised concern among her followers, who asked her whether she feels all right or need some help. Answering to all the comments, she later clarified her post in an interview with The Blast, revealing that she was the victim of cyber terrorism attack. “It’s this bad that all I can do is take my experience and understand and have such compassion and also wants to advocate for the youth who don’t have the tools and the money and the resources,” she said. “This is why we’re losing kids to this.”
She went on assuring that she never planned to take her own life because of that, though she felt “like dying sometimes.” Taryn added, “It’s that ugly when someone can shred your entire existence online.”
The “8 Mile” actress doubled down on her comment by editing the caption of her initial post. She wrote, “I am not suicidal. You wish. I’m crushed and making a point how no one cares when you’re down.”
