Stacey Solomon has hit back at trolls who accused her of leaving one year old daughter Rose at home alone whilst she was away working.
She's known to be a big fan of decorating her home for the seasons and she's gone all out for Halloween, adding two life-size skeletons to her home which she's nicknamed Phil and Grant, after EastEnders' Mitchell brothers.
The 32 year old mum of four took to Instagram to share a snap of one of the skeletons propped up by the island in her kitchen with its hand placed on a kitchen bowl which was surrounded by tiny pumpkin ornaments.
Alongside the snap, Stacey wrote: "I was up & out in the darkness this morning before anyone woke up.
"I have been for the last few days so I've left Phil & Grant (the skeletons) in charge," she quipped. "Doing some creepy version of Halloween elf on the shelf to cheer the kids up while I'm not there.
"Today Grant has organised the breakfast bowls and is waiting for everyone to come down for their cereal."
In her next post, she shared a comment from one of her followers who questioned if she'd left her four children at home "to fend for themselves," and saying "not a good look."
In a video, Stacey could be heard saying sarcastically: "Yeah, now Rose is one, I thought 'she's pretty' independent, so I thought I'd just leave her with Phil and Grant the skeletons, and she'd be absolutely fine."
She then went on to crack a series of savvy jokes about the skeletons and struggled to hold back laughs as she said: "They're really low maintenance. They don't need feeding. They work really hard… in fact they work themselves to the bone."
"The best thing is about skeletons…they're just dying to help," she added as she burst into laughter.
Over the video, she confirmed that her husband of three months, Joe Swash, 40, was at home looking after the children whilst she was at work.
There were more jokes to come in her next Instagram story as she said: "I reckon Grant and Phil have been wanting to ask for a pay rise for ages but they just haven't got the guts."
Stacey shares two children, Rex, three and Rose, one, with Joe, and she is also mother to Zachary, 14, and ten year old Leighton from previous relationships.
Joe is a dad to a 15 year old son, Harry, who he shares with ex Emma Sophocleous.
Stacey has previously opened up on what it's like to have a blended family, describing their journey as a "rocky road".
"The blended family situation has been a rocky road. That has never been easy," Stacey admitted. "We have always had to work really hard to make sure everyone feels secure."
