So Emily Ratajkowski is already owning this maternity style game

Emily Ratajkowski emerged on Monday following the news she was expecting her first baby with husband Sebastian Bear-McClard – and is it clichéd to say the woman is positively glowing?

The 29-year-old model made the sweet announcement by posing for the digital cover of Vogue Magazine, in which she insisted she wasn’t going to be revealing the gender of her baby.

Following the excitement, with social media popping right off, the actress and entrepreneur was seen in public with her gorgeous bump on full display in a black dress.

With cut-out side panels, Emily was all about celebrating her changing body in the stylish dress which really put a new spin on maternity dressing. Honestly, we’re taking some notes here.

To tie the look together, she donned a pair of cherry-red, heeled boots.

Hey we’re not saying our weekend outfit of trackpants and trainers isn’t cute, but Emily is, quite frankly, owning this maternity wear shtick.

We were left both shaken and stirred when the short clip heralding Emily’s announcement emerged overnight, with the star seen smiling at the camera while wearing an orange slip and cradling her bump.

The swimwear designer also shared a video (directed by Lena Dunham, of course) documenting her changing bod featuring nude mirror selfies and several of her maternity looks so far.

Speaking to Vogue about her unborn child, the model explained: ‘When my husband and I tell friends that I’m pregnant, their first question after “Congratulations” is almost always “Do you know what you want?”

‘We like to respond that we won’t know the gender until our child is 18 and that they’ll let us know then. Everyone laughs at this. There is a truth to our line, though, one that hints at possibilities that are much more complex than whatever genitalia our child might be born with: the truth that we ultimately have no idea who—rather than what—is growing inside my belly.’

She continued: ‘Who will this person be? What kind of person will we become parents to? How will they change our lives and who we are? This is a wondrous and terrifying concept, one that renders us both helpless and humbled.

‘I like the idea of forcing as few gender stereotypes on my child as possible. But no matter how progressive I may hope to be, I understand the desire to know the gender of our fetus; it feels like the first real opportunity to glimpse who they might be.’

Many of her famous friends were quick to share their joy alongside fans, as Paris Hilton wrote on social media: ‘So happy for you!🥰’.

Ashley Graham commented, ‘I’m in love with this video! So happy for you!!,’ while Nina Adgal added: ‘Congratulations!!! ❤️🙏’

‘Congratulationsssss love,’ pregnant Victoria’s Secret model Romee Strijd commented on the post, while Sofia Richie wrote: ‘OMG CONGRATS.’
