Heavy metal band Slipknot have released a music video for the track “Solway Firth” from their upcoming album, We Are Not Your Kind.
Directed by the band’s co-founder and percussionist, M. Shawn Crahan, the 6-minute-long video highlights several clips from the band’s recent trek across Europe.
Produced in collaboration with Amazon Prime Video and Uproxx, the video also showcases snippets from Amazon’s upcoming series, “The Boys,” which revolves around a host of superheroes abusing their superpowers instead of using them for good.
“It is probably the furthest we’ve pushed the boundaries of creativity and experimentation, while also not losing our identity,” lead vocalist, Corey Taylor said of the album in a recent interview with NME.
We Are Not Your Kind is a follow-up to the band’s 2014 collection .5: The Gray Chapter and is slated for release on August 6.
