GMB: Piers Morgan jokes about Charlotte Hawkins’ ‘talent’
Good Morning Britain star Charlotte Hawkins, 45, appeared on this week’s House of Games and was the lucky winner of a Richard Osman branded alarm clock. She joked that the gimmicky item would take pride of place in her household, and the host couldn’t apologise enough.

Every day this week, celebrity contestants David Baddiel, Alex Brooker, Sophie Duker and Charlotte have taken on a series of quiz rounds, with the winner being announced on this evening’s show.
Throughout the past four days, each participant has walked away with a little prize that they can treasure forever after being given a choice from a small collection of branded gifts.
On Thursday’s episode, there was quite an array of items up for grabs, with a yoga matt, a onesie, a fondu set and an alarm clock.
When Charlotte was asked what she’d prefer, she already knew which one she would pick.

“I think an extra alarm clock for Good Morning Britain would be handy,” she smiled, thinking about those daily early starts.
“You can never have enough!”
Charlotte opted for the bright red alarm, and managed to snap up the item before anyone else could.
“Are you still going for the alarm clock Charlotte, or have you changed your mind?” Richard wondered near the end of the show.
“No, I’m going to stick with the alarm clock,” she insisted.
After the show had wrapped, Charlotte took to Twitter to share a still from the episode as she encouraged viewers to tune in.
“Poised…! @richardosman’s House of Games 6pm @BBCTwo #houseofgames,” she wrote, alongside a photo of her with her hand on the big red buzzer.
Fellow presenter Julie Bradbury replied: “You are a braver woman than I….”

Charlotte urged her colleague to give it a go: “Oh you should do it – you’d be great!” she wrote back.
Richard then chimed in, agreeing with the GMB star: “Agreed! What a show today!”
Charlotte was quick to let the host know that her prize would be on show for all to see: “That clock with your face on is now taking pride of place!”
Richard joked: “I can only apologise,” but Charlotte had another up her sleeve, as she smirked: “Well I didn’t say where it was taking pride of place….”
As the team now go into double points Friday today, the leaderboard was quite telling.
Richard seemed extremely excited to see who would be walking away in first place this week.
David stole yesterday’s show with 13 points, followed closely by Sophie with 10 while both Alex and Charlotte tied third place with nine points.
House of Games continues this evening at 6pm on BBC Two.
