The Real Housewives of Orange County star Gina Kirschenheiter‘s estranged husband Matt has been let go by his longtime job at investment management firm PIMCO following his domestic violence arrest, RadarOnline.com can exclusively report.
A company spokesperson who works in the employment verification department told Radar the reality TV star’s troubled spouse was “let go.”
Laura Batty, another spokesperson for PIMCO, confirmed the father of three is no longer with the company, but could not provide any other details about his departure.
“Matt was recently terminated from PIMCO after the incident with Gina,” an insider told Radar. “He is devastated, and does not know how he is going to provide for his family.”
This is just the latest setback for Matt, 35, who was in court today in Orange County, California.
As Radar previously reported, Matt was arrested on June 22 for suspicion of felony domestic violence. (He has not been formally charged with a crime.)
Following the alleged attack, Gina requested a temporary restraining order, claiming that Matt told her he was “going to f**king kill” her while screaming and beating her.
“He ripped my bra strap off, then took a pillow and hit me on the side of the head with it hard,” she said. “My ears rang. I begged him to stop to calm down… but he kept hitting me.”
On June 24, an Orange County judge granted Gina a temporary order.
In addition, Gina was granted “legal and physical custody” of their kids, Nicholas, 7, Sienna, 5, and Luca, 4. However, Matt is now allowed supervised visits with his children.
On July 16, a judge ordered that the agreement will stand until another court hearing on August 14.
