Princess says Harvey sometimes purposely goes for Jett and Bunny because he likes the sound of crying

In Katie Price's latest memoir, Katie Price: Harvey and Me, Katie's daughter Princess has opened up about how her brother's complex needs affect the rest of Katie's children.

Harvey, 19, was born with ADHD, autism, genetic condition Prader-Willi Syndrome, and septo-optic dysplasia, which causes blindness.

Princess, 14, also writes about her big brother in Katie's book and explains that sometimes Harvey will "go for" her younger siblings in order to make them cry.

Katie is mum to Harvey, Junior, 16, and Princess as well as Jett, eight, and Bunny, seven.

The teenager explains: "Harvey loves the sound of crying, so sometimes he can purposely go for Jett and Bunny just to make them cry."

Princess adds that Harvey "can't help" what he does, explaining: "Obviously he can’t help it and he’s not doing it to purposely hurt them, he just enjoys the noise of it."

She adds that Harvey would do the same with her when she was younger.

Princess explains: "He used to do that to me when I was younger, too. I can’t really remember what it was like when I was really young, but when I was about seven, he used to try and hit me. "

The youngster then added: "It’s because he used to hear me and Junior play fighting together when we were younger, so he worked out that if he hit me it would make me cry. He can be really clever."

Princess has a strong bond with her older brother Harvey and revealed she has previously cut friends off for "taking the mickey" out of him.

She wrote in the book: “He’s actually so innocent and people don’t realise that.”

Princess went on: “I don’t get why people feel the need to be so nasty towards him. Some of my friends have taken the mickey out of him in the past, but they’re not really my friends if they do that.”

Katie recently gushed about her son Harvey, and said he was a "credit to her" while on the red carpet of the NTAs, where Katie was nominated for her documentary about life with Harvey.

Speaking exclusively to OK! on the red carpet ahead of the NTAs Katie revealed she was "so proud" of 19 year old Harvey for their recent documentary, also titled Katie Price: Harvey and Me.

"Tonight is brilliant," Katie said with excitement. "I'm so happy. It's nice to be up for a nomination, just for me and Harvey and our relationship and opening up on the disability."
