Mindy Kaling Talks Possibility of a Second ‘Four Weddings & a Funeral’ Season

Mindy Kaling sits on stage while appearing on the Four Weddings and a Funeral panel during Hulu’s portion of the 2019 TCA Summer Press Tour on Friday (July 26) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 40-year-old actress created the series with Matt Warburton and they were also joined by showunner Tracey Wigfield, as well as cast members Nathalie Emmanuel, Rebecca Rittenhouse, Brandon Mychal Smith, and Nikesh Patel.

The 10-episode series is currently just billed as a limited series, but they opened up about the possibility of a second season.

“Is that up to us?” Mindy said in response to the idea (via Deadline). “We’re still editing Episode 10!”

Tracey said that the show was written “as a complete story” but “anything can be anything.”
