Married At First Sight UK fans have claimed to have found "proof" that Josh Christie "liked" some of Morag Chricton's old Instagram snaps.

The show descended into chaos on Monday night as Josh insisted that he had never messaged Morag in the past while she called him a "f**king liar" over the claims.

And one fan, who was convinced that Morag "was lying" took it upon herself to do some digging where she found out that she may have been telling the truth after all.

The fan shared screenshots that appeared to show Josh's Instagram username leaving likes under snaps of Morag from April 2019 when she lived in Australia.

Despite evidence that appears to show Josh has interacted with Morag's Instagram account in the past, it does not prove whether he has sent her DMs or whether they have spoken to each other before.

Writing in the caption of the screenshots, the fan claimed: "I literally crept right back to the beginning of her account, I couldn't help it! I follow Josh and some of the others, so knew it would come up if he'd liked any of pics

"Creeping through her posts, it really does become apparent that she is NOT his type.

"Maybe he was a player etc, but don't think it was that way with Morag. And feel even more like that after seeing her posts that he liked… Sorry Morag, but even if some type of question was asked, there was nothing to tell. Bye girl."

Only recently, Morag, who is married to Luke, told Amy in front of their fellow co-stars that her partner Josh had messaged her last year, and the trio got in a heated argument on the latest instalment as they addressed the claims.

Taking to Instagram after the episode aired, Morag said a game during girls' day "forced" her to bring up Josh's messages on the show.

The contestant said: "Let's remember guys, it was a game that forced me to bring it up" as she also shared a message from co-star Tayah, who insisted that it was brought up due to them playing "never have I ever".

Tayah penned: "I can't not say anything about this any longer, @morag_moo was asked a question at the girls day, we had cards with questions on when we were playing 'never have I ever'.
