After a week of episodes being cut short because of horse-racing, Loose Women has been cancelled today [Thursday 17 June] to accommodate the Euro 2020 football.

The show usually airs from 12:30 to 1:30, but fans will have to wait a little longer for their next Loose Women fix.

The daytime programme will be replaced by the Ukraine vs North Macedonia match at lunchtime.

The cancellation comes after a week of episodes were cut short to half an hour to make way for the racing.

Loyal viewers took to Twitter to share their frustration at their favourite show not being able to air.

One Twitter user expressed: "They're moving loose women for football! How dare they!"

While another fan added: "Loose women cancelled for the football = monday ruined."

After panellist Stacey Solomon announced her pregnancy, her Loose Women co-stars admitted they were relieved as they were worried they would accidentally reveal the news.

The Loose Women gang congratulated her during last Thursday's episode – and revealed that they've known about the joyous news for a while.

Kaye Adams said: "I personally am so glad because I nearly let the cat out of the bag on so many occasions."

Jane Moore added: "We can all breathe out now, we can all let our stomachs go, because we don't have to keep it a secret any more."

But Frankie Bridge admitted that she was surprised by Stacey's pregnancy, recalling a recent conversation which saw Stacey act coy when the topic of having more children was brought up.

The Saturdays singer said: "I was like, 'do you reckon you and Joe will have another one?' and she was like, 'yeah, we'd really quite like another one' and she was probably pregnant! So cute."

Stacey, 31, and her husband-to-be Joe Swash, 39, announced she was expecting another child on 9 June in an emotional Instagram post.

The brunette beauty is already mum to Rex, two, who she shares with Joe, and also sons Zachary, 13, and nine year old Leighton.

While Joe is also dad to son Harry, 14, from a previous relationship.
