Lauren Goodger pressed reset button on relationship as she reunites with Charles Drury

Less than a month after their shock split, former The Only Way is Essex star Lauren Goodger and her boyfriend Charles Drury have rekindled their relationship.

And hot off the heels of reuniting, a source close to the parents of four month old tot Larose exclusively told OK! that the couple have “pressed the reset button” on their relationship and are “taking their time and working on them as a couple.”

“Lauren and Charlie feel the split has made them press the reset button on their relationship,” the source explained.

“They were amicable for the sake of Larose, which they are so glad about.

“Their main priority is their daughter. They feel this is a reset on their relationship and they are taking their time and working on them as a couple.”

It came to a surprise to many that the new parents had separated, after appearing to be so solid after welcoming their daughter back in July.

Charles first announced the break-up last month, telling his Instagram followers: “Only going to post this once. Me and Lauren have decided to go our separate ways. Things must remain civil for the sake of our daughter."

While he added that Lauren “is a great mum” and they both have Larose’s "best interests" at heart,

Following this, Lauren, who was tending to her sick daughter in hospital at the time, also took to her social media and told fans: “I apologise for Charlie talking about our relationship status right now as our daughter is very ill and this is the least of my worries.

"I do not wish to comment on the situation at this time as there is much more to it but my priority is getting my daughter better. My baby girl is the most important thing to me right now, shame I can't say that about others."

Thankfully Larose is now on the mend and home, while The Sun reported yesterday Charles and Lauren are giving “things another go.”

“Having a baby takes a toll on most couples, especially with Larose’s ill health,” a source explained.

“It’s back to basics for them and a fresh start."

Essex girl Lauren and Charlie got together last year, before announcing to OK! readers in January that they were expecting their first child.

The couple welcomed their daughter in July following a home birth at her Essex flat and she told OK! at Larose's first shoot: “It's the best thing that's ever happened to both of us.

"She's perfect."
