Katharine McPhee is raising money for an important cause and she’s reaching out to her fans to help out!
The 35-year-old actress and singer is working with International Animal Rescue to save 50 captive bears in Armenia.
“We want to save these beautiful brown bears from unimaginable suffering in Armenia. They are currently being locked up, neglected, and starved and they need our help,” Katharine wrote on Facebook. “I would really appreciate it if you could donate as much as you can, even a dollar helps! Please help shed light and awareness on this important cause.”
Kat went live on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram on Tuesday (July 23) to tell fans about the cause. She said she learned about the organization from watching a 60 Minutes episode that included a profile on the charity.
As an incentive for fans in the Los Angeles area, Kat is offering free tickets to one of David Foster‘s shows coming up in the next few weeks. You can direct message her on Instagram with your donation details to get one of the tickets, which are likely only available in a limited quantity. So act quickly!
