Georgia Kousoulou says she never edits pictures and has lost work for being real

Georgia Kousoulou has admitted that she has “lost work” as she is “real” and “never edits her pictures”.

Speaking during herself and fiancée Tommy Mallet’s ITVBe reality show Georgia & Tommy: Baby Steps, Georgia confessed that she has lost out on jobs because she rarely wears make-up and is “real and honest”.

The TOWIE star, who recently opened up about suffering from postnatal depression, said: “Sometimes it’s not always gone on my side being real and being honest and just being me.

“I rarely wear make-up now so I’m not going to start changing, I never have. I’ve definitely lost jobs because of it.

“For all the jobs I didn’t get, I’m happy I didn’t get them because I've never changed for anyone and I’m not going to change.”

Georgia continued that she also never distorts her pictures on social media, as she wouldn’t want people to think she looks different in real life.

The 30 year old added: “I never edit my pictures. I’d hate for people to see me in real life and think she looks so much better on the Gram [Instagram].

“Can you imagine? How embarrassing! I might put the odd filter but rarely. I would never do that [change my body].”

Georgia’s comments came as she shot social media content for her Instagram account during filming for the show.

“I’m not a model, I’ve never claimed to be,” she said. “I’m not an influencer, and I’ve never claimed to be one of those either. I feel like I’m a normal girl who has to pretend what I’m doing.

“I’m not saying I have a hard job but I find this job really hard as it doesn’t come naturally to me. What’s the saying? Fake it till you make it!”

The reality star became a mum last year after welcoming her son Brody into the world.

The tot recently celebrated his first birthday, with his famous parents throwing him a star-studded party featuring farm animals, balloon arches, a three-tier cake and a performance by their former TOWIE co-star James ‘Arg’ Argent.

However, motherhood hasn’t been without its challenges for Georgia, with the mum-of-one recently telling OK! how she struggling to bond emotionally with her son at first.

She told us: “I didn’t get that overwhelming feeling of love from the moment I first held him that everyone speaks about. I was looking at this baby like, ‘Is this mine?’ It took me a while.

"It was love at first sight visually, but emotionally I didn’t have that uncontrollable love and when I didn’t get it straight away it really stressed me out. It upset me for ages and sent me into a dark place.”
