Frankie Bridge begs fans for help as she suffers awkward Instagram blunder

Frankie Bridge has made an urgent plea to her Instagram followers after her profile name somehow changed.

The British pop star, 33, who said her husband Wayne "parents" her, posted on her story begging for someone to advise her how to change her name from Frankie Sandford back to Frankie Bridge.

The issue appears to have been caused by her Instagram page being linked to her Facebook account but even after unlinking them she was still unable to correct her name.

She wrote: "Guys… I need your help! I'm sure some of you have noticed… my Instagram name has changed somehow to Francesca Sandford?!? [shrugging emoji]"

"It's not linked to my Facebook anymore… but I still can't change it?! Any tips?!"

But despite having 1.5 million followers to consult the singer's name remains Frankie Sandford 21 hours after the original plea was made.

After the name change, Frankie was pictured in a black textured swimsuit with chunky black sunglasses and gold earrings ensuring her outfit wasn't totally accessory free.

Her caramel hair was free flowing and draped across one shoulder as she looked off into the distance.

From the reflection in her shades it appeared she was by a pool with large parasols nearby to keep the sun off her.

Frankie could be seen sending videos from her time in Ibiza – possibly connected to her new affordable F&F collection.

Frankie released her must-have summer collection on April 12 and shoppers have gone wild for it.

Taking to Instagram to announce the exciting new collaboration, she shared a video of herself going into her local Tesco to take a look at the range in person.

The post was captioned: "Can’t believe I’m finally writing this.. but… I’m so excited to be launching my very own brand… @fw_bridge …

"It’s been a dream of mine to create stylish… sustainable… size inclusive… and affordable clothing.

"Finding a home within @fandfclothing was the perfect fit! @joooooliee and I are incredibly proud of all the designs… believe me when I say… a lot of thought… passion and hard work has gone into each and every piece!"

She continued by saying "Thanks to you guys and the incredible response I get each week from #frankiesfaves I’ve wanted to create my own brand for a long time… so I can’t wait to see people wearing our pieces!!!

"I hope you’ll love it as much as I do! and thanks to Claire from Brooklands Tesco for joining in the madness in store today!”
