First time mum Louisa Lytton has been taking advantage of the warm September weather taking her newborn out for a stroll, she has revealed on Instagram. The 32-year-old uploaded a photo to Instagram Stories trying out her gifted pram as she took her baby out of the house for the first time.

“First outing…Nonna’s house,” she captioned to her nearly 250,000 followers. This photo comes a day after the Eastenders actress revealed that she had given birth in an emotional post, showcasing an image of her hand entwined with her baby's and fiancé Ben Bhanvra’s.

This is the couple’s first child together, keeping them both busy for the foreseeable future – leaving any wedding plans to the wayside. After getting engaged in 2019, the pair had planned to get married in 2020, however the pandemic put a stop to the certainty of that.

Postponing the wedding until this year, plans were scrapped after Louisa became pregnant, she revealed in an exclusive maternity shoot before the impending arrival of her child.

“We’ve cancelled the wedding altogether now. We’re going to have the baby and focus on that and then get married once we’re ready."

Now, the soap actress has more time to bond with her baby and fiancé, which she is more than grateful for.

"This last year has put everything into perspective and there are bigger things going on in the world,” she said about swapping her wedding priorities with being a mum.

“Now with the baby, it will be such a different day and it’s just amazing. I was at my mum and dad’s wedding so it’s nice that our baby will now be doing the same.”

Since revealing on Instagram that she was to become a mum on Mother’s Day, Louisa kept her followers regularly updated throughout her pregnancy journey, up until the last moments. The actress’ Instagram page is filled with happy images during this time, as well as posts documenting the hardships she experienced in pregnancy also.

“My midwife has advised I rest. Slow down. Something I find very difficult,” Louisa wrote in a post back in April., “We need to listen to our bodies.”

“First trimester. I’ve never felt hunger like it. I couldn’t stop,” She wrote in another. “The only thing that would subside the sickness was salt and ketchup. I felt such guilt, how could I give this baby such a terrible start. I’m out the other side now, and I wish I just relaxed a bit more and didn’t cry into every portion of chips.”

Despite experiencing struggles like many women do during pregnancy, as always, fiancé Ben has remained by Louisa’ side as a pillar of support. After meeting in 2017 through mutual friends, the pair’s relationship has gone from strength to strength and with the arrival of their newborn, it looks to continue on so.
