EastEnders star Toby Alexander Smith and Emmerdale actress Amy Walsh shared a snap of themselves posing together for the first time as they attended a wedding.

Amy Walsh, 34, who plays Tracy Metcalfe in the ITV show, was the first to share a selfie of the pair on her Instagram Story.

Dressed in a stunning khaki wrap dress with hearts, the actress looks incredibly happy in the snap.

The blonde beauty has her hair in a gorgeous up do while Toby, 31, is also beaming for the camera. He looks equally as smart in a brown blazer, with a black T-shirt underneath.

Amy captioned the photograph: "At the Machin-Crane Wedding 2.0," hinting that the happy couple's nuptials were delayed because of pandemic restrictions.

Amy and Toby's secret romance first came to light at the end of last year when the pair were pictured on the red carpet at the opening night of A Christmas Carol at the Dominion Theatre in London together.

Amy, who is the sister of Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh, has played Tracy in Emmerdale since 2014. When it comes to her previous relationships, Amy was engaged to Bradley Jaden in February 2017, but the couple split in April 2018.

Toby has played EastEnders villain Gray Atkins since 2019.

Amy recently discussed the reaction her boyfriend received after his character killed his wife Chantelle (Jessica Plummer) last September. In the months since, soap fans have also seen him murder Tina Carter and push Kush Kazemi in front of a tube.

Amy explained that some people do find it hard to separate her boyfriend’s character from real life .

When asked if Toby is hassled by fans, she replied: "He gets a bit, but more online… I just always say it's because you are so good, because you are doing a good job."

Amy herself has her fair share of gripping storylines too and also spoke about her character Tracy’s postnatal depression on Loose Women.

"I have spoken to women who have gone through it directly," she explained. "I just want to do it justice who have gone through it."

After she appeared on the show, Toby demonstrated how proud he was of Amy by posting on Instagram.

Sharing a picture of her on the show, he wrote: "Not only smashed he @loosewomen interview but is also smashing her incredibly important storyline! Proud of you @amyvwalsh," followed by an all-important love heart.
