Dan Osborne has opened up on struggling with suicidal thoughts earlier this year, revealing to OK! magazine that it was the gym and exercise which helped him deal with it.
Dan revealed earlier this year that he was feeling depressed when there was lots of speculation about his relationship with wife Jacqueline Jossa.
On how he is doing now, 28 year old Dan said: “I feel a lot better, it was a stressful time. When you get targeted in the press it’s going to get to you, but having kids helped me through as they’re such a positive influence in your life.
“When you have those little faces smiling at you, you just can’t be negative.”
Dad-of-three Dan then expanded on why therapy isn’t for him, saying: “No, I haven’t had therapy but I learned to think of things in a different way.
“If someone is targeting you or trolling you then you’ve almost got to feel sorry for them. Karma is a b***h!”
Former TOWIE star Dan revealed that it is exercise, playing sports and working out in the gym that helps him with his mental health.
He said: “It helps me feel so much better if I’m having a difficult day. My body has got so used to exercise that when I don’t train my body goes crazy.
“I train five days a week and I also do football and tennis lessons.”
Dan and his former EastEnders star wife share daughters Ella, four, and Mia, one. Dan is also a doting dad to Teddy, five, with his former partner Megan Tomlin.
Jacqueline recently posted an emotional message about daughter Ella starting “big” school in September.
She shared a picture to her Instagram of herself and Ella sharing a cuddle, as she shared an emotional message to her fellow mums.
Jacqueline, 26, wrote: “It’s sinking in slowly that my first angel love is going to start big school in a matter or weeks now! Any one else not coping at all.
"I keep having soppy moments and Ella now laughs at me and says, your going to cry aren’t you! "Don’t get me wrong i am actually really excited for her, I know she’s gonna love it and I know she will grow so much. She fills me up!
"I’m going to make the most of having you close every single day while I can!
"Btw I am well aware that a lot of mums can’t wait for school to start again because summer holidays are driving them potty!!
