‘Cobra Kai’ Showrunners Reveal The Endgame They Have In Mind For The Show

Cobra Kai is a very popular series on Netflix, which follows Johnny Lawrence and Daniel LaRusso into adulthood.

The showrunners for the series, Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg, have opened up in a new interview about the end they have in mind, and it’s not at the end of season four. Instead, they have ideas that will lead them into season five, and maybe six. Or, even season seven.

“We have an endgame in our heads,” the trio shared with TV Line. “We’ve had one for quite some time, and it’s not in Season 4. It’s well beyond that.”

The three added that in their minds, “we have seasons’ worth of story that is necessary to tell before we get to that endgame.”

“That will be a discussion going forward with our new partners at Netflix. Can we write to that endgame? Can we know that it’s coming?” Jon, Josh and Hayden continued. “That’s not always the case with television and we respect that. For now, we’re continuing to write at the same speed and with the same path that we set out with from the beginning.”

At the moment, Cobra Kai hasn’t been renewed for a fourth season. The three, and many fans, are hoping that changes soon.

The current season is streaming now on Netflix, and included a tribute to an original movie star. See who it was here…
