Upcoming Nickelodeon series “America’s Most Musical Family” recently announced Nick Lachey as host and R&B singer and model Ciara, singer-songwriter-actress Debbie Gibson and YouTube personality, David Dobrik as judges.
Slated to premiere later this fall, the series will pit 30 highly-talented musical families against each other for the grand prize of a recording contract with Republic Records and a cash prize of $250,000.
“I want everyone to have fun — not only the viewing audience but also all the groups that are a part of this,” said Lachey, who rose to fame with the boy band, 98 Degrees, that he formed alongside his brother, Drew.
“Drew and I are best friends and for me it’s been very special and meaningful to go through the experience with someone I already care so much about,” Lachey told Billboard.
Meanwhile, Dobrik said that he is “most excited to sit front row and watch all of these talented families put on a great show, and see all the kids put on twists to all of my favorite songs.”
