Chrissy Teigen drags Hercules star Kevin Sorbo for tweet about 'Biden flags'

Hercules star Kevin Sorbo has been dragged on Twitter for suggesting voter fraud in the US presidential election.

Sorbo, best known for playing the titular character in the 90s series Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, is an ardent Donald Trump supporter, and believes in the incumbent president’s claims that the election has been hit by fraud.

But it was one particular tweet from the actor that had stars like Chrissy Teigen and Alyssa Milano unleashing their mockery.

The 62-year-old tweeted: ‘I never see people driving around with Biden flags, someone want to explain how this guy who couldn’t fill a high school auditorium is leading currently?’

And people were very keen to explain.

Teigen tweeted: ‘Because we know how stupid it f***in looks lmao’, while Milano responded: ‘Our flag flying is our vote. And our compassionate candidate encouraged people to protect themselves from the pandemic that has taken 250k American lives. This is not hard.’

Journalist Soledad O’Brien tweeted: ‘Maybe ‘cause the job isn’t leading the pep rally? And we’re in a global pandemic?

‘Are you really this clueless or is this just excellent acting?’

However, Sorbo was unperturbed, and continued to tweet about the unfounded discrepancies in votes.

The actor – also known for appearances in The OC and Supergirl – wrote: ‘The left: *keeps finding ballots only for Biden 2 days after the election* Also the left: “Orange man is destroying our democracy!”’

He also claimed that dead people were casting votes, tweeting: ‘I love it when dead people participate in our elections on behalf of the Democrats. Shows true American spirit’, and questioned why the majority of mail-in ballots were being called for Joe Biden.

Before the election, it was expected that mail-in ballots would lean for Biden, as studies have shown that Democrats are more likely to use mail-in ballots and Republicans are more likely to vote on the day at a polling booth.

Celebrities across the US – and indeed, the rest of the world – have been biting their nails as the vote count continues in America to decide whether Biden or Trump will take the White House.

Biden is ahead of Trump in both the popular and the electoral college votes, and has taken the lead in Georgia – a win in this state would leave him just one vote short of the presidency.

However, Trump has made wild allegations that the election was rigged from the start and has stated his intention to bring the matter to the Supreme Court.

He also wants the count stopped in the remaining uncalled states, despite all mail-in votes postmarked by election day eligible to be counted.
