Tickets for the Avicii Tribute Concert for mental health awareness sold out in just half an hour after the sale started at 10 am CET on Thursday.
“It’s overwhelming, difficult to take in,” Avicii‘s father Klas Bergling said about the sell out. “I’m so grateful for all the people who want to share this special evening with us.”
Adam Lambert, Rita Ora, Amanda Wilson and Andreas Moe are among 19 artists who are scheduled to perform at the Avicii Tribute Concert, to be held on December 5 in the late DJ’s hometown of Stockholm.
Nineteen of the original singers of some of Avicii’s favorite songs will play with a 30-piece band during the two-hour headline set at the Friends Arena in the Swedish capital.
The proceeds of the concert will go to the Tim Bergling Foundation, named after Avicii, who ended his life last year.
