Alison Hammond reportedly put her £700,000 home up for sale last Thursday – the last day Phillip Schofield hosted This Morning, before he announced he was leaving the show with “immediate” effect.
ITV presenting veteran Phil, 61, called it quits last weekend – after 21 years of fronting the hit morning show, as reports of a "feud" with his co-host Holly Willoughby, 42, raged on.
Since his exit, bubbly Alison, 48, has presented the show alongside co-host Dermot O'Leary, 49, – who usually hosts with her each Friday – and Craig Doyle, 52. Holly is set to return to the studio after a break over the half term on June 5.
Alison is no stranger to the beloved ITV programme, regularly filming stints and interviews for This Morning, including segments from her own kitchen, along with hosting on Fridays with Dermot.
Now, it is said that Alison is ready to move on from the home many viewers are so familiar with, reportedly putting it on the market on Thursday, May 18 – which was Phillip's last day.
A source recently told The Sun: "The timings are entirely coincidental but are, perhaps, telling. Alison loves that house but wants a fresh start. She's incredibly in demand.
"It's looking highly likely she will be asked to do more days a week on This Morning — and therefore she will be spending more time in London."
OK! has contacted Alison's representatives for comment.
This Morning is filmed in West London and Alison's presenting duties have continued to ramp up in recent months. She was evenannounced as the new host of the Great British Bake Offearlier this year.
Alison lives in the Birmingham property with her son Aiden, and has shown off various areas of the home including the modern kitchen, dining area and bedroom while presenting on This Morning over the years.
The star has also shared a number of property photos on her Instagram, offering further insight into her interior design style.
Her modern kitchen is complete with white worktops and integrated appliances, with glossy taupe cabinets. In contrast, there are dark doors on the wall cabinets which, while presenting during lockdown, the bubbly Brummie covered with photos of her co-stars.
The TV presenter shared a snippet of her living room on Instagram after posting an image of herself enjoying some popcorn. The room has been made up with relaxing tones, and includes a zebra print cushion on the dark grey velvet sofa and a mustard yellow side table.
The room is painted cream with various pops of complementary colours.
When presenting after Phil’s exit from This Morning, Alison said: "Now, we can't start today's show without paying tribute to the man who has spent the last two decades sitting on this sofa – Phillip Schofield."
She added: "Quite simply, we all know he's one of the best live television broadcasters this country has ever had and we, and all the team, wish him all the best for the future."
